He becomes the company's regional director for the public sector in ANZ, following a stint as federal and defence lead at SentinelOne. Prior to this, he held such roles as federal government and defence lead for Forescout Technologies, sales director, health and public services for Accenture and handled federal and territory sales for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Vanessa Gage promoted at Microsoft
She takes over as sales director of cyber security, focused on enterprise and financial services. The new role is the latest in her 16 year career at the company that's also seen her hold such positions as enterprise sales director; director - retail, CPG, travel and transport; and enterprise sales manager - modern work solutions.
Hasagana Hendehewa named APJ partnerships lead at Temporal Technologies
He joins after close to three years as director of channels and alliances as MongoDB. Prior to this, he held such roles as head of ISV business development, APAC at AWS; head of channel sales and alliances, Linux global business unit at Oracle; and head of sales at LimePoint.
CrowdStrike adds George Seraphy
He has been tasked with leading the go-to-market for the Seraphic NG Browser Security business across JAPAC for the company. He joins after leading the pursuits and relationships of Cisco's most strategic accounts for the observability, data platform and agentic cybersecurity BU, as well as serving as regional sales manager at Splunk. Previous roles include leading the team for strategic multi year transformations and pursuits across the BFSI industry at NTT DATA and serving as director of sales, commercial/global service providers for ANZ at Broadcom.
Kylie Howlett departs Fujitsu for Reason Group
She joins the Australian-owned business and technology services firm as director of delivery for ServiceNow. She was previously at Fujitsu for close to three years, most recently as practice manager for employee service experience, OCM and UI/UX; her previous roles include 14 years at IBM, where her final position was head of strategic engagement and executive communications for Asia Pacific, Greater China and Japan.
Mukesh Sharma appointed HPE enterprise sales director
He joins after over eight years at Arista Networks, most recently as head of sales for Australia. Prior to this, he held such roles as regional sales manager at LogRhythm, commercial account manager/territory account manager at Juniper Networks and account manager for network sales and services covering the southern region at IBM.
Joe Fruci swaps AWS for Zscaler
He joins as senior partner business manager after just over two years as global account manager, media and entertainment at AWS. Prior to this, he held such roles as director, enterprise accounts - Oracle Cloud Platform at Oracle; manager global system integrator & alliances (APJ) - Azure Business cloud sales at NetApp; and manager global system integrator & alliances (APJ) - Azure NetApp files, Microsoft 1st party service at Microsoft.
Chris Hwang swaps Akamai for SecureCo
He becomes an enterprise sales director for the Australian-built CPaaS after two years as an account executive at Akamai. Prior to this, he was senior account executive at CSO Group, senior client executive at Seccom Global and the owner-operator of a Vocus Group telecommunications franchise.
Dean Fox departs Datacom after 18 years
He has come onboard at ElevenLabs, an AI audio platform, in a strategic GTM role. His career at Datacom saw him hold such roles as director of product, partnering and presales; director of experience technology; and head of CX technology.
David McIntosh moves from Acronis to Barracuda
He has been appointed principal security practice architect for APAC after close to five-plus years at Acronis, mostly spent as senior cybersecurity architect. His prior roles include data technology architect at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, technical sales specialist at Dell EMC, and IBM server and storage consultant at Ingram Micro Australia.
Devon Blignault leaves Baidam for Tenable
He has been named senior security engineer at Tenable; over three years at Baidam, he held such roles as cyber risk specialist, managed services lead - ANZ and territory manager - QLD. He's also held such roles as sales manager - APAC for Locate2u, senior account manager - defence and public sector at CyberCX and head of operational strategy - APAC/EMEA at Verizon Connect.
Ever Nimble grows team
Perth-based Lucas Gardner joins as the company's team lead (west) for the Reactive team after two years at FocusNet Technology, most recently as service delivery coordinator. He has previously held such roles as support team lead at First Focus IT and technical services team leader for WA at Central Security Distribution.
Matthew Tan appointed account executive at Atturra
He joins after a brief stint as consulting sales executive at Oracle, having previously held such roles as digital client partner at NTT, sales director at TL Consulting Group and senior director - financial services at Capgemini.
Andrew Woodard rejoins Insight
Based in Wellington, he comes onboard as account manager, having held the same role from the 2016 until 2021; between then, he served as account director for Generation-e. He was also previously at Datacom for over eight years, holding such roles as software licensing consultant and procurement consultant.
