Outcomex founder Marco Delgado transitions to new role

Australian technology services firm Outcomex has appointed Michael van Zoggel as chief executive officer, with founder and current CEO Marco Delgado transitioning to the role of founder and chairman after 14 years leading the business.

Van Zoggel joined Outcomex in 2014 and has served as managing director since 2020.

As CEO, he will take responsibility for the overall leadership and day-to-day direction of the company, with a focus on customer outcomes, sustainable growth and operational performance.

The company also made two further executive appointments: sales director Ben Blaschka has been elevated to chief revenue officer, taking responsibility for revenue strategy across sales, customer experience, alliances and go-to-market activities, while Holly Garbutt has been appointed national sales manager, moving up from an account executive role.

Delgado, who founded Outcomex in 2012, said he was stepping into a strategic guidance role rather than stepping away from the business. In his new capacity as chairman, he will continue to support the leadership team and drive long-term partnerships and growth initiatives.

He will also remain active across a portfolio of ventures, including 365mesh, an AI and IoT company he founded in 2021, and two more recently established businesses, Lucendus and ThreatCanary.

Van Zoggel said the changes would provide continuity while strengthening the company's capacity for future growth.

The appointments come as Outcomex continues to invest in cybersecurity, managed services and AI-enabled technology solutions across its national operations.
