Tony Burnside is calling time on a 12-year career at cloud security specialist Netskope.
He first joined the company as regional sales director based out of Boston, Massachusetts, responsible for Netskope's expansion in the New England region of the United States.
In 2016, he made the move to Australia, taking over as channel and alliance director for APAC.
From here, he went on to serve in such roles as regional sales director for Asia Pacific, VP for Asia Pacific, and since March of last year, SVP of APJ.
Prior to Netskope, he had sales and account manager stints at both Aruba Networks and Juniper Networks, since both acquired by HPE.
In a post on LinkedIn, Burnside said that to say his 12 years at Netskope were a career highlight would be an understatement.
"From being the first person in New England, to moving back to Australia 10 years ago to start APAC, to growing the APJ GTM team from 2 people to nearly 300 and delivering substantial revenue to the company, it's been quite the ride," he said.
"The absolute highlight has been the amazing One-APJ team of great people. To all of you THANK YOU. You continue to punch way above your weight and should be very proud of all you've achieved and continue to achieve. I will miss you all very much.
"A huge thank you also to our customers, and our APJ distributor, reseller, and alliance partners. Without you we would not be where we are today. I'm leaving you all in very safe hands."
