Dicker Data selects techpartner.news as exclusive media partner for TechX

Dicker Data’s TechX 2026 event series has landed in Perth, kicking off the first event in a four-city roadshow that brings together reseller and vendor partners across the WA capital city, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney - an event series that techpartner.news has been selected as the exclusive media partner for.

Delivered as a one-afternoon experience across multiple cities, TechX brings partners together to explore how the market is changing and what those changes mean in practice for partner business models, customer engagement and long-term growth.

"We've chosen to partner with techpartner.news for the TechX series because of the innovative and creative ways that they've met the needs of not only our business but our partners," Ben Johnson, Dicker Data's GM of marketing and strategy for ANZ, said.

"Our partners are asking for in-depth reports, and they're asking for guidance on where to go next, and so we partner deeply with the techpartner.news team to deliver on those needs for both our vendors and our technology partners, and that's why this media partnership has helped drive success for TechX in 2026."

In between networking opportunities on the expo floor, Mark Iles, chief analyst for APAC at Omdia, delivered a data-rich, locally focused view of how the market is evolving across Australia and New Zealand.

Drawing on independent regional research, he unpacked how customer demand is shifting across SMB, mid-market and enterprise segments, including the practical implications of AI adoption, security priorities, cloud strategies and other emerging technology trends.

Across all four events, partners are provided with the opportunity to engage with technology vendors, explore emerging solutions and gain insight into how technologies such as AI, security, cloud, networking, data centre and devices are being applied to real customer challenges.

Following Perth, TechX 2026 is headed to Brisbane on 20 August 2026, Melbourne on 29 September 2026 and Sydney on 15 October 2026.
