Based in Victoria, he will lead the cybersecurity practice nationally across the company's Professional Services and broader technology portfolio.
Tagle holds a PhD in Computer Science and brings more than 25 years of technology and cybersecurity experience across Australia and the Asia-Pacific, including senior roles at DXC Technology, Secureworks and NTT.
The company's cybersecurity practice covers advisory, governance and strategy services alongside operational security capabilities including identity and access management, threat and exposure management, cyber resilience, and an Australian-based sovereign Security Operations Centre.
"Pierre has built and led cybersecurity capabilities across complex organisations and markets," said Shane Quinn, managing director of professional services at Kinetic IT.
"He brings the experience, perspective, and leadership to help us build on what we already do well and shape a cyber practice with distinctly Australian relevance."
“Kinetic IT already has a strong foundation through its customer relationships, operational knowledge, and sovereign capability," Tagle said.
"The opportunity now is to build on it with cyber capability that helps organisations see their exposure more clearly, understand what needs to change next, prioritise intelligently, and strengthen resilience over time, and then help organisations to design, implement, validate, and operate that change.”
