Aussie Broadband's Phil Britt departs
Aussie Broadband's co-founder Phillip Britt has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the company, retiring from the board due to his plans to expand the scope of previously announced regional telecommunications venture in Gippsland. The Special Technical Advisory Services Agreement between Britt and the Company which commenced in March 2025 will also be concluded by mutual agreement. The Board has commenced a search process and intends to appoint two new directors upon its successful completion.
TZ Limited announces CEO transition
David Sampaklis, the CEO of TZ Limited - an ASX-listed company whose devices work with a range of wireless and wired communications platforms to provide secure access as part of system wide solutions, has resigned as group CEO due to personal circumstances.
There is no change to the Company’s strategic direction or operational priorities and the board will undertake a process to assess leadership options, including both internal and external candidates.
The Board stated it remains focused on driving ARR growth across the company’s three core divisions; smart locking, data centre security and property services (Keyvision) and continues to see "strong commercial opportunities" across these segments. The company is also actively assessing additional commercial opportunities to support and accelerate ARR growth.
KnowBe4 appoints Dr. Kawin Boonyapredee as APJ CISO advisor
KnowBe4 has appointed Dr. Kawin Boonyapredee, based in Singapore, as CISO advisor for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) as the company continues to expand its regional presence and support organisations managing human risk and AI-driven cyber threats.
Boonyapredee will support KnowBe4’s regional thought leadership and customer engagement efforts, working with organisations across APJ to reduce human and AI risk by strengthening security culture against phishing, deepfakes, and emerging cyber threats. The role will also involve industry engagement and advising on how organisations can better align security strategies with evolving workforce and technology dynamics.
He brings nearly 30 years of IT, cybersecurity, and business leadership experience, having previously held senior roles including MD at Qualys and head of security consulting at British Telecom.
Firmus adds Lee Hatton, Christine Bartlett and Julie Shuttleworth AM to board
Hatton joins as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. She has served on the board of Xero Ltd (2014–2023) and has held executive positions at NAB, Suncorp, Afterpay, and Block Inc, where she currently leads global financial operations.
Bartlett joins as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. She has significant Director and Chair experience on boards in both the listed and private sectors and is the current chair of NSW Ports and CEDA. Prior to her career as a company director, she held CEO and senior executive roles at IBM, National Australia Bank, and Jones Lang LaSalle, including regional and global responsibilities based in Australia, the USA, and Japan.
Shuttleworth also joins as a Non-Executive Director. She brings more than 30 years of global operational experience across the mining, resources, and energy sectors, including senior leadership roles at Fortescue, where she served as deputy CEO and CEO of Fortescue Future Industries.
