NiCE appoints Nigel Lindsay-Smith to lead ANZ operations

Nigel Lindsay-Smith has been appointed to lead the Australia and New Zealand business for NiCE, an AI platform designed to automate and optimise customer service.

He will focus on expanding its enterprise presence in the region, growing NiCE’s ANZ partner ecosystem, as well as working closely with systems integrators and strategic technology partners.

A key priority will be helping businesses harness the combined capabilities of NiCE’s contact centre platform and the recently acquired technology from Cognigy, which delivers a "conversational and proactive AI-led customer experience".

Lindsay-Smith’s last gig was as senior vice president for APJ at LivePerson.

He has also held positions at Adobe and Salesforce.

“NiCE presents an incredibly exciting opportunity in the ANZ market,” said Lindsay-Smith.

“The combination of Cognigy’s market-leading conversational AI with NiCE’s world-class CCaaS capabilities creates a powerful proposition for organisations looking to transform customer experience at scale. I’m energised by NiCE’s vision, the strength of the local and global teams, and the opportunity to deliver real value for customers across the region.”
