Cloudian's MD for APJ departs

James Wright, the MD of the APJ region for Cloudian, has announced his departure.

He first joined the company back in November of 2019 as director of ANZ/Oceania.

Prior to this, he also held roles at Nutanix, Pure Storage and IBM.

In a post on LinkedIn, Wright said his time at the company was a "defining period", building and leading the APJ business through everything from a global pandemic to supply chain challenges, geopolitical shifts and major strategic company change.

"What stands out most is what we achieved as a region. Together we evolved the business, expanded with NNL’s across 19 countries, and built a strong foundation with customers and partners across Asia Pacific," he said.

"None of that happens without great people. To my team across Asia — thank you. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside such a talented, resilient and committed group, and I’m incredibly proud of what we built together.

"I’m now looking ahead to what’s next and open to opportunities where I can help scale growth and build high-performing teams across Asia Pacific."
