He joined the company four years ago as APAC senior account manager before being promoted to the organisation’s first key account manager. 

Asana promotes Jo Gaines to GM APAC

Prior to joining Asana in 2023, she held senior leadership roles at Salesforce and Krux Digital.

Robert Hillard elevated to CEO of Deloitte Asia Pacific

For the last two years, he has served as the company's Asia Pacific consulting businesses leader, having also held such roles as Asia Pacific chief transformation officer and Australia chief strategy and innovation officer.

Stefan Buchman becomes CTO of nexwave

He brings more than 25 years of experience across the Microsoft and AWS ecosystems and joins from Slalom, where he served as CTO for Australia and New Zealand.

Michael Michaloudis joins SAP as VP and head of CX ANZ

Previously, he was regional director ANZ and ASEAN at Medallia, and prior to that, senior director for enterprise sales at Alteryx.

Marcus Rossato appointed Datadog's head of APJ marketing

He comes across from Klaviyo, where he was head of marketing for APJ.

Data#3 promotes Craig Ellis to GM of WA

He has been with Data#3 for eight years and was previously manager of infrastructure solutions for WA, which included product and services responsibilities.

Hitachi Vantara's partner, alliance and inside sales director for ANZ departs

Steven Lee joined in 2023 after a stint as head of enterprise sales for Lenovo. He has since announced a new role: regional sales director at AMD, focusing on the investment and accelerated growth of the ANZ commercial sales team.

Andrew Nette joins Source Technology as director of platform transformation

His most recent role was platform engineering for Australia Post, a role he held for nearly six and a half years.

Rob Dooley joins FrankieOne as CCO

His most recent role was Rapid7’s vice president and general manager for APJ, and prior to that, as senior director for VMWare’s Security Business Unit for APJ.

Jason Su elevated to ANZ HP chief of staff

His promotion follows nearly five years as head of hybrid systems at HP for the greater Asia market.

Troy Stodart becomes head of delivery for First Focus in New Zealand

The move follows First Focus acquiring OneHQ, a New Zealand managed IT services provider.

Atturra appoints Kunal Shah as CFO

Previous CFO Herb To announced his intention to retire at the beginning of March, but will remain with the company until September to support an orderly transition.

Andrew Penn appointed as chairman of Sharon AI

He is best known as the former Telstra chief executive, a role he held between 2015 and 2022.

Beth Tschida steps into Jamf CEO role

AMD appoints Vinay Awasthi as SVP of Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan

Based in Singapore, he will lead the regional sales strategy and execution for AMD across one of the company’s fastest-growing regions, focusing on deepening customer engagement, strengthening OEM and channel partnerships, and aligning go-to-market strategies across APJ’s markets to support growth across cloud, enterprise, AI, commercial and consumer segments.

ClickHouse selects Ed Lenta as VP for APJ

Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for accelerating the adoption and expansion of ClickHouse Cloud and the open-source database in the region.

He brings experience scaling cloud and data platform businesses across the region, most recently as GM of Asia Pacific and Japan at Databricks, where he managed operations across more than twenty countries and led customer-facing teams serving organisations from startups to large enterprises and government. Earlier in his career, he helped build Amazon Web Services and VMware from early-stage companies into major platform providers in APJ.

Lenta's appointment in APJ is complemented by the recent hire of Takeshi Kaneko as country manager of ClickHouse Japan. Kaneko brings more than two decades of leadership in the Japanese technology market, including senior executive roles at Nutanix, where he served as president of Nutanix Japan, as well as leadership positions at Red Hat and Microsoft Japan.

LogicMonitor names Dave Patnaik as VP of APAC

Based in Singapore, he joins the company’s global go-to-market leadership team and will play a key role in driving regional GTM execution, expanding regional coverage, building strategic ecosystem partnerships, and accelerating joint growth opportunities across the region, while supporting LogicMonitor’s continued expansion to meet rising enterprise demand. 

Patnaik brings experience scaling enterprise sales and partner-led GTM organisations across complex, multi-country environments. Most recently at Red Hat, he led a $1B APJ ecosystem business, driving sustained growth and large-scale new logo acquisition across the region. He previously held APAC and international leadership roles at Forescout, SolarWinds, Wolters Kluwer and Trend Micro. 

Alistair Green takes "pause" from Oracle

The Sydney-based SVP of alliances and channels said in a post on LinkedIn that he is "taking a deliberate pause to reset and invest in personal and professional renewal".

"I am excited about working on a number of passion projects with the Australian Defence Force as a Group Captain reserve officer, and fulfilling a life long dream of studying fine furniture making," he stated.

Previously Singapore-based, he first joined Oracle at the end of 2020 as regional VP for cloud engineering for Japan and Asia Pacific. He was previously at SAP for over seven years, with his final role being SVP and head of services sales for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Kurt Euston returns from six-month career break

He has taken on the role of director of alliances for APJ at Everpure (formerly Pure Storage). His most recent role was head of growth for ANZ at Versent; prior to the final version of this role, he acted in a different variation of the role for six months as Telstra brought Versent, Purple and Epicon together under the Versent brand. He was also in various head of and GM roles in his near decade-long stint at Telstra before this.

Kate Marshall joins Microsoft as partner sales director for APAC

She previously led APAC customer success at Zitcha, building and scaling the CS function from the ground up to drive enterprise adoption. She was also previously a digital director for News Corp Australia and a senior sales manager for Amazon Advertising.

Brigham Milne named MD of AVI-SPL

He joins the AV/UC integrator and digital solutions company after a close to 13-year stint as COO at Convergint Oceania AV (formerly POMT). Prior to this, he was state manager at Programmed and professional services manager at ServicePoint Australia.

Julie Morton moves on from Civica

She takes over as sales director of ANZ for Granicus ANZ, a company that provides digital experiences for government. She was previously at Civica Asia Pacific for over a decade, with her final role being director of sales education; her role before this was APAC head of sales.

Dean Fox wraps up 20 years at Datacom

His first role was team manager - Microsoft customer service ANZ. Since then, he's held such roles including desktop delivery manager, operations manager, GM of service delivery, head of CX technology and, in his last role, director of product, partnering and presales.

Michael Slip calls time on NTT DATA journey

He has taken over as senior director of contact centre for Optus. For the last seven years, he was senior director of go-to-market customer experience and collaboration, ANZ at NTT DATA. Prior to this, he was at Dimension Data for 12 years, who were acquired by NTT DATA and absorbed into the company in 2019, with his final role being GM of the CX Business Unit.

Palo Alto's Eion Black jumps to Cursor

He becomes the director of partnerships for APJ at the coding agent for building software. His final role at Palo Alto Networks was planning, programs and strategy for JAPAC, having served for six years at Symanetic prior, his final role being channel sales manager: strategic partners.

Edwina Mistry named co-CEO at Imagetext alongside alongside John Preisig 

She joined the NZ-based Apple IT partner as director of operations in 2018. Prior to this, she was at the Manukau Institute of Technology in Auckland as the industry and community engagement manager, plus a senior lecturer, schools liaison and STAR partnerships manager.

First Focus' Adam Stephensen heads to local council

Come 1 July, he will be joining Georges River Council as their new IMT business partner. This will conclude a 10+ year stint at First Focus, the last year and a half of which were spent leading the full client engagement lifecycle for a portfolio of SMB accounts across the 20–300 staff segment.

eNerds CTO Greg Krzeszkowski departs

He has taken over head of IT at insurance brokers QIB Group following a close to 15-year stint at eNerds, the last 14 of which have been spent as CTO. His role upon joining the company back in September 2011 was network infrastructure manager.

Vladimir Yastreboff appointed CISO of Australian Financial Complaints Authority

He was previously head of security testing and head of security governance, risk and compliance at Atlassian for the last four and a half years. Prior to this, he was at Westpac for over 17 years, with his final role being head of security assessment services.

Victoria Shiffer joins Downer as head of cyber security operations

She was principal business information security advisor at Telstra for the last six months and senior EM, security at MYOB before this. She also had an eight-year stint at SEEK, with her final role being head of security culture and trust, APAC.

ANZ's Ryan Bunney heads to the US

He has moved to Washington D.C. to take up a role as head of enterprise service management and autonomous platforms at The World Bank Group. His 22 years at ANZ began as a senior technical support analyst, before taking on such roles as head of customer contact centre, head of payments command centre and head of service, platform and strategy, his final role

Mel Thompson leaves Optus for Pax8

She takes over as VP of experience at Pax8, having served as the head of network delivery office at Optus. Prior to this, she was business planning and improvement director at Ventia and head of project delivery at One New Zealand.

Jeremy Dean appointed director of automation for Virtual Blue

He joins after nine years at The Warehouse Group, with his most recent role at intelligent automation lead. His previous roles at the company include acting head of data, intelligent automation engineer and chapter lead of business intelligence and visualisation.

Vanessa Morley to become Vocus' chief people officer on 3 August

For the last eight years, she's been Nine's chief people officer. Prior to this, she was group head of talent at Coca-Cola Amatil, director of human resources and general affairs at Samsung Australia and head of people operating model at Qantas.

Renz Caliguia named global cyber security governance specialist at QBE Insurance

He joins after a year as IT risk and compliance manager at Officeworks. His previous roles include cyber security and compliance manager for ANZ at L'Oréal, manager of cyber security strategy and governance at KPMG Singapore and information security governance, risk and compliance manager at Procter & Gamble.

Junaid Nawazish Ali promoted at Macquarie Technology Group

He is now the data centre critical infrastructure manager after having served as the critical facilities manager for Sydney since the end of 2024. Prior to Macquarie, which he joined in 2021, he was at Interactive, with his final role there being data centre facilities engineer.

Matt McDonough becomes Superloop's sales director for wholesale

He was previously CEO of Titan Telecoms and country manager ANZ, interconnection and acquisition at Microsoft. In 2025, he co-founded Bedrock Networks.

Domenic Vitale joins QTX as chief growth officer

He was at Tech Data as partner development manager and Microsoft SureStep ambassador for the last four years. Prior to this, he was a senior sales executive at INTELLIWORX Managed IT, a senior sales lead at Fujitsu Australia and an ANZ partner development executive at SkyKick.

Reno Maglitto moves from Saviynt to ServiceNow

He joins as ServiceNow's senior solution sales executive for security and identity governance after serving as ANZ channel and alliance director at Saviynt for over two years. Prior to this, he was ANZ channel manager at Recorded Future, ANZ channels and alliance director at ForgeRock and APAC regional channel and alliance manger at Netskope.

Joanna Knox promoted at Telstra

She is now executive for data and AI, having joined the company back in 2016 as director of  strategy and operations. Since then, she has served as chief risk officer; group owner of product excellence and incubation; and product executive.

Sandeep Singh takes on new role at Macquarie Technology Group
 
He is now the principal consultant for cyber security and product management after four years as cloud security architect. Prior to this, he was DevSecOps cloud lead implementation for TAS.

Brendan Cox continues his Oracle journey

He takes over as solution director for Oracle Health JAPAC after serving as director of SaaS solution engineering and healthcare. Prior to this, he was director of CX solution engineering; he first joined Oracle in 2014.

Mitch Barnes appointed principal cloud native specialist at Dynatrace

He joins from Splunk, where he was staff observability strategist - APJC and before that, senior solutions engineer - strategic accounts. Prior to this, he was the principal solution consultant  - APJ at Lightstep, the principal AWS solution architect - APJ at NetApp and a senior solutions consultant at New Relic.

Darren Burgess heads to NTT DATA

He takes over as senior client executive, public sector ANZ, based in Canberra. He was previously senior account director at Reason Group, and before that, at DXC for 19 years.

Carlos Grijalva Ortega joins Gallagher Re

Based in Hong Kong, he joins the reinsurance broker as executive director - head of cyber, APAC. He was previously head of cyber sales, Asia at WTW.

Zoran Taleski rewarded with promotion at AWS

He becomes WWPS ANZ scale sales manager after five years spent as an account executive. He was previously the education programs manager after first joining close to seven years ago.

Brennan's Kylie Williams departs

She has been the company's software licensing executive for Microsoft and AvePoint for the last year. She joined in 2019 as sales support for MOQdigital, acquired by Brennan in 2022. Prior to this, she was at NTT DATA for 12 years, with her final role being internal sales administrator.

AWS' Gilbert Quinn joins Pushpay as director of engineering

Based in Auckland, he joined AWS in 2019 as manager of solution architects for NZ. He went on to take on the roles of head of CSC SA, ANZ and senior partner sales SA. Prior to AWS, he served as CTO of Britehouse's automotive division.

Deena Pawson promoted at One New Zealand

She takes over as sales manager - SME and partners. She joined Vodafone (since renamed to One in 2023) in 2019 and previously served as sales manager - partners and regions.

Ben Brown takes over as channel account director for ANZ at Qualys

He joins after serving as senior partner account manager at Cloudflare. He was previously partner sales manager at Sumo Logic, partner manager ANZ at CyberArk and major account manager at Check Point Software Technologies.

Sam Vasic swaps Cisco for Microsoft

He joins as enterprise cybersecurity specialist after three years at Cisco, his most recent role there bein an account executive in security. Prior to this, he was an enterprise sales development representative at Transmit Security and a sales development representative at Datto.

Matthew Lee named BDM for Dell at Ingram Micro

He joins after over three years at HPE, most recently as business manager for multivendor services. Prior to this, he was the national business development manager for HPE Services, HPE OEM, Hitachi Vantara, Nutanix at Dicker Data. 

Ben Ladkin becomes major account manager - strategic at Fortinet

His previous roles include CRO at Kaine Mathrick Tech, as well as major account manager at Palo Alto Networks. In 2015, he started Neologiq, an AI consultancy and developer.

Hayden Sherriff appointed GTM lead - strategic accounts at Cognition

He joins after close to seven years at UiPath, with his final role there being regional VP of ANZ enterprise. Prior to this, he was at Trend Micro as the NSW/QLD enterprise account manager.

Cohesity adds four client executives

These comprise of Perth-based Charles Fonceca (ex-Checkpoint and Proofpoint); Canberra-based Troy McDonald (ex-Dell Technologies and Geoscience Australia); Auckland-based Cedric Edwards (ex-Lexel Systems and Hewlett Packard Enterprise); and Melbourne-basedGregor Carr (ex-NetApp and AWS).

Mitchell Easy embarks on new chapter

He has left Datto after seven years with the company, his final role there being manager of  account management. He also held such roles as senior account manager of key accounts and senior channel sales manager since joining in 2019.

Andrew Wood moves from DXC to Macquarie

His role is BDM, the same role he held at DXC for the last four years. Prior to this, he was an enterprise BDM at Vocus, VP of sales and customer success at RegCentric and an account director at TechnologyOne.

Scott Young moves into new role at Ricoh Australia 

He takes over as sales manager for hybrid workplace after serving as hybrid workplace portfolio manager for the last two years. Prior to this, he was at Leader for a year, with his final role being national UC technology and vendor manager, following a 23-year stint at Alloy Computer Products.

Dillon Reyes promoted at Huntress

He is now the manager for sales development after serving as a senior account executive, team lead. He joined in 2023 after a year and a half as account executive, APAC at Gorgias.

Michael Phillips joins Salesforce

He takes over as account director for the SA public sector after serving as the strategic account director for SA, WA and QLD at Okta. Prior to this, he was an enterprise account manager at Fortinet, an advisor and equity partner at The Sales Developers and a national account executive at Codium Software.

Cygnus Consulting adds Nicholas Scicluna as senior DevOps engineer

He has held similar roles at Zendesk, Woolworths, ANZ, Contino and AGL, as well as DevOps engineer at EverestEngineering and senior cloud engineer at the Australian Energy Market Operator.

Lindsey Crowe and Paul Devine named principals at V2 AI

Crowe's prior roles include senior software engineer/AI solutions engineer at Zettle, senior software engineer at Endeavour Group, consulting technical lead/senior engineer at Hello Human and consulting technical lead at Pacific Analytics.

Devine's prior roles include principal consultant at Portable and Midnyte City, lead consultant at CMD Solutions Australia and senior cloud engineer at Contino.

Antonio Khalil takes on new challenge

He has joined Converged Communications Group as a principal consultant for Telstra solutions. He is tasked with delivering strategic outcomes for enterprise and mid-market clients across telecommunications, managed services and digital transformation initiatives. Previously he was the senior BDM for NSW at Schepisi Communications for close to 15 years, a company that is a Telstra Accredited Whole of Business – Enterprise Partner, servicing customer needs in voice, data and mobility.

Cygnus Consulting adds Srujana Enugala as senior business analyst

Her prior roles include agile business analyst and development team lead at Ignition Advice, product owner, technical business analyst and QA engineer at ELMO Software and QA analyst, scrum master and product owner at Practera.
