Jarrod Nink succeeds Guy Danskine, who relocated to the United States to assume the role of MD for West Americas for the company.

Kelly Griffin appointed CEO of Blackbird IT

He takes over from Ben Corbett, who co-founded the business with Richard Stafford in 2007.

Veeam appoints Philip Goldie VP for ANZ

He joins from SafetyCulture, where he led global teams across sales, pre-sales, customer success, partnerships and support.

Richard Harrison named TrendAI's inaugural global VP of AI security

This is the first time the company has appointed a global executive role based in New Zealand.

Interactive appoints Anneliese McDowell as MD of cyber security

She joins Interactive from CyberCX, where she most recently served as executive director of strategy and consulting.

Cohesity Appoints Peter Hanna as VP and GM of Asia Pacific and Japan 

Based in Hong Kong, he will be responsible for driving Cohesity's overall sales strategy, technical sales execution, channel operations, and growth initiatives across APJ, spanning Australia and New Zealand, Singapore and ASEAN, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macauand Taiwan.

Hanna's appointment, which he begins on August 1, follows nearly three years leading Cohesity's Partner and Alliances Sales organisation in APJ. Prior to joining Cohesity, he held regional leadership positions at VMware and Dell EMC.

Databricks appoints Corrie Briscoe to lead APJ partner business

Based in Singapore, she will lead and expand Databricks' partner ecosystem across the region, collaborating with cloud providers, global and regional systems integrators, ISVs and technology partners to help organisations scale data and AI apps, analytics and agents. 

Briscoe joins Databricks from AWS, where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation, overseeing partner programs, strategic investments and go-to-market initiatives. Prior to AWS, she held leadership roles at Microsoft and Cisco, leading regional partner strategy and ecosystem development. 

Shankar Moorthy joins OpenText

He takes over as SVP for solutions consulting and specialist sales across Asia Pacific, Japan, the Middle East and Africa. He was previously at AWS, where he served as APJ head of global strategic partners and marketplace, and prior to this, as head of the APAC partner organisation.

Ruben Kuhadasan becomes head of technology delivery at NAB

His previous roles include leading ENGIE Retail's enterprise data transformation as part of the global program, defining the strategy and roadmap for the transition from legacy platforms to an AWS-native data ecosystem; leading the transformation management practices across Cognizant; and directing the end-to-end delivery system in technology platforms for ANZ Bank’s flagship digital banking transformation.

Michael Diaz heads to CrowdStrike

He takes over as director for managed security service providers and alliances sales for JAPAC after a year as the sales leader for cloud and service providers for ANZ at Veeam Software. His prior roles include sales director for modular data centers for APJ at Schneider Electric and account director of cloud service providers, data protection solutions for ANZ at Dell EMC.

Christina Tupou returns to CommBox as chief revenue officer

She joins a six-month stint as national vendor and channel growth manager at Bluechip Infotech. Prior to this, she was at CommBox for over five years, holding such roles as GM of customer experience and sales, and head of customer success and experience.

Tom King opts for retirement

He has held roles across his career with Sun Microsystems as senior service account manager, with Oracle as senior service delivery manager and most recently with NetApp, initially as a senior global support account manager and then for the last four years, as manager of support account management for ANZ.

Anthony Birrell calls time on Dell

He joins commercial real estate company CBRE as director of technology services and AI readiness after close to 12 years at Dell. During his time there, he held such roles as global alliances manager for Asia Pacific/Japan/Greater China, and senior account director of the converged platforms and solutions division.

Joe Campbell closes out a decade at Planview

He now joins Tempo Software as GM of enterprise sales for APAC. During his time at Planview, he held such roles as country manager for ANZ, VP of sales for ANZ and regional sales director for APAC. He first joined the company as an enterprise account executive in 2016.

Kimber Stowe starts new role at SailPoint

She joins as principal agentic technologist after over five years at Dataminr, where she held such roles as regional director for channels and alliances for APJ and regional head of corporate enterprise for APAC. Prior to this, she was sales director for ANZ at Mobilewalla and telecommunications, media and entertainment industry lead at IBM.

Daniel Butler swaps Microsoft for Google

He joins as a senior solutions consultant at Wiz after four years at Microsoft, where he was most recently a senior cloud security architect. Prior to this, he held such roles as technical advisory manager for M365 governance and security at AvePoint, client success lead for cloud and security at TAS and service delivery lead at blueAPACHE.

Nathan Gardiner to embark on new chapter

He departs VITG after close to seven years, with his most recent role being client growth and engagement lead, and before that, head of business development. He joined the company after ITteligent was acquired by VITG in 2021; while at ITteligent, he served as acting GM, client relationship manager and business development manager for national accounts.

Sarah Ashton named Rapid Circle's alliance and partner manager

She joins after serving as GM of sales and partnerships at AI and cloud consulting firm LAB3. Prior to this, she was enterprise sales manager at TPG Telecom, and held a number of roles over seven years at Microsoft, including enterprise manager for technology strategy ANZ retail.

Jen Barrett joins Airlock Digital as channel account manager for ANZ

She was previously senior partner account manager at Cloudflare, having also served as partner development manager at Tableau and business development consultant for FMCG at Quantium. Barrett was also previously at Telstra for close to 13 years, with her final role there being channel partner manager for Telstra Enterprise.

Mason Bradford appointed vendor alliance manager at Datacom

He spent the last year and a half as process manager, facilitating both enablement and training within the product solutions group. Other roles he has held since joining as a graduate in 2021 include customer experience consultant for Google and Google mobility engineer.

Andrew Browne promoted at AvePoint

He is now senior partner development manager, having previously served in the roles of sales manager, MSP and distribution channel manager since joining at the end of 2022. Prior to this, he held such positions as head of sales and channel partnerships at BeeCastle and modern workplace business development manager at Ingram Micro.

Andrew Eakins moves from Pure Storage to Netskope

He takes over as channel sales manager after seven years at Pure Storage, mostly spent as a partner account manager for the Southern region. Prior to this, he was at Arrow ECS ANZ for close to four years, where he held such roles as vendor manager for Palo Alto Networks, VIC sales manager and channel development manager.

Allan Tran trades Armis for NinjaOne

He joins as SDR manager after serving as a strategic SDR for the last two years at Armis. He has also served as SDR team lead at Cloudflare and SDR at Dropbox.

Matthew Toscano wraps up at AWS

He has served as senior account executive for the last eight and a half years, joining after serving as an account director at Puppet. He was also at Cisco for over nine years.

Mike Houston closes Kaseya chapter

His most recent role at the company he joined at the start of 2024 was senior principal account manager for key accounts. Prior to this, he was at Datto for over four years, holding such roles as principal account manager, channel sales manager and sales development representative.

Greg Newbegin jumps from Lenovo to Ingram Micro

He takes over as Palo Alto Networks BDM for the Southern Region after serving as a software and security domain specialist at Lenovo for over five years. Prior to this, he held such roles as cybersecurity BDM for VIC/SA at Exclusive Networks and endpoint security BDM at ESET.

Peter Ngo comes onboard at Superloop

He joins as an account executive in the NSW enterprise team after having served as an APAC corporate account executive at NetDocuments. Prior to this, he was at Equinix for over six years, holding such roles as senior account executive for mid-market, account executive for corporate sales and opportunity development representative.
