Veeam has named Philip Goldie as VP for ANZ.

He joins Veeam from SafetyCulture, the Australian-founded workplace operations platform, where he led global teams across sales, pre-sales, customer success, partnerships and support.

Previously, he served as VP and country manager for Okta in Australia and New Zealand, leading customer and partner success across the region.

He also spent 12 years at Microsoft in senior sales and partner roles across Australia and New Zealand and earlier held regional marketing roles at Nortel across Asia.

“Organisations across Australia and New Zealand are moving fast with AI, but speed alone will not build trust,” said Beni Sia, SVP and GM of Asia Pacific and Japan at Veeam.

“The real test is whether their data is secure, governed, recoverable and trusted enough to support AI at scale. That is where Veeam leads. We have built the number one data resilience position in ANZ, and Philip is the right leader to help customers and partners turn that foundation into measurable business outcomes.”

“Australia and New Zealand are among the most dynamic technology markets in the world. Customers are looking for trusted partners who can help them protect critical data, recover quickly when incidents occur and adopt AI with confidence," said Goldie.

"I'm excited to work with our customers, partners and team to build on Veeam's strong momentum across the region."
