Equinix names new MD of Australia

Equinix has appointed Jarrod Nink as its new managing director for Australia.

He succeeds Guy Danskine, who relocated to the United States to assume the role of MD for West Americas for the company.

Nink will be Sydney-based and will oversee strategy, customer growth and operations, reporting to Cyrus Adaggra, Equinix's president for Asia-Pacific.

Most recently, he served as interim CEO of enterprise, government, wholesale and infrastructure at Vocus Group; before that, he held the roles of COO and chief executive of wholesale and international.

Prior to joining Vocus Group in 2018, he was CEO of Hue (CK Hutchison, UK) and held several executive leadership positions during a nine-year tenure at Vodafone Australia.

Nink slides into the seat previously occupied by Guy Danskine, who relocated to the United States to assume the role of Equinix’s managing director, West Americas.
