Prefabricated modular data centre specialist DXN has grown its executive leadership team with a pair of appointments, as John Stevens joins as COO and Darren McSorley comes onboard as chief development officer.
Stevens joins after a two-year stint as head of solution architecture at Macquarie Technology Group.
Prior to this, he was COO for two years at 5G Networks, COO at Webcentral for two years, and was at NBN for over four years, with his final role there being GM of service assurance and operations - CS&A.
Since April of 2024, McSorley has served as mission critical market sector director for NDY, a Melbourne-headquartered company specialising in engineering and advisory services for buildings and public spaces.
Prior to this, he held such roles as national data centre lead, and group ICT lead before this, for ADP Consulting, and was also previously based in Singapore as the Asia Pacific director of commissioning engineering firm Andrew Reid & Partners.
"With over 20 years of experience across telecommunications and information technology, John brings extensive expertise in operations, business transformation, customer engagement and strategic leadership," the company said in a LinkedIn post.
"With 35+ years of experience in ICT, infrastructure design and mission-critical environments, Darren brings deep expertise in data centres, telecommunications and strategic development across Australia and New Zealand," the company said in a separate LinkedIn post.
DXN's FY26 results revealed a 33% drop in revenue from $15.1 million in FY25 to $10.1 million.
