ASI Solutions has acquired Insicon Cyber, an Australian-owned cybersecurity specialist, adding a sovereign security operations centre (SOC), managed security services and board advisory capability to its offer for education, government and commercial customers across ANZ.
Insicon Cyber, founded in 2013 and headquartered in North Sydney, operates a 24/7 SOC that is ISO 27001 certified and holds Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Network Partner status.
Its services cover three areas: board and executive advisory, including CISO as a service and AI governance advice; managed security, including monitoring, detection and response and managed SIEM; and compliance consulting for standards including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 42001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, as well as ASD, APRA and NZISM requirements.
The company will continue to operate under the Insicon Cyber name as an ASI Solutions company, led by co-founders Matt Miller as chief executive and Greg Bunt as chief information security officer.
Insicon Cyber expanded its offering into managed services in September 2025 before expanding its SOC and launching services in New Zealand later in the month.
The company is also a two-time finalist in the 2025 and 2026 Benchmark Security Awards.
"Many organisations already trust a technology partner to keep their critical systems running, and security belongs in that relationship," said Nathan Lowe, managing director at ASI Solutions.
"Insicon Cyber gives us an Australian-owned specialist team and a SOC to bring to the organisations we support."
"Few Australian-owned security specialists bring board advice, a localised SOC and compliance together under one roof," said Miller.
"Joining ASI keeps that capability in Australian hands and gives us the reach to help far more organisations across Australia and New Zealand, under the Insicon Cyber name we have built,"
The acquisition is ASI's seventh in total and follows its purchase of JTC Technology earlier this year, its sixth.
ASI also posted a revenue of $246 million for the 2025 financial year, a 25% year-on-year jump that saw it earn fourth place spot in the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50 and the Fast50 Leader Award for the highest FY25 revenue of the group.
