The Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) has released a tender seeking a cloud-based, off-the-shelf SaaS Financial Management System delivered with minimal configuration.
The WAEC currently utilises the SmartStream Financial Management Solution to support its core financial operations. SS FMS was implemented more than 20 years ago.
The following core finance functions are currently available within the SS FMS: Procurement/Purchasing; Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Banking and Cash Management; General Ledger; and Fixed Asset Accounting
The new solution must support WAEC’s core financial functions and provide scalable, secure, and user-friendly capabilities.
The new solution will also need to support WAEC’s compliance with government procurement, security policies and relevant data protection regulations including the WA Government Cyber Security Policy, as well as having the ability to natively integrate with Azure/Entra AD for SSO functionality.
The successful tenderer is to provide the solution, including associated implementation, licencing, hosting, ongoing maintenance and support services.
In-scope essential modules as part of the new solution include Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Banking and Cash Management; Budgeting and Forecasting; Fixed Assets; General Ledger; Purchase Requisition Workflow; and Tax.
Optional modules; Asset/Inventory Management; Expense Management; and Procurement Management.
The tender closes 8 May at 2:30PM WA time.
