CrowdStrike has partnered with CyberCert to help SMBs across Australia and New Zealand strengthen their cybersecurity posture and work toward SMB1001 certification.

The partnership pairs the CrowdStrike Falcon platform with CyberCert's certification services, giving managed security services partners (MSSPs) a way to deliver AI-native protection alongside a structured path to SMB1001 certification readiness for their customers.

SMB1001 is a multi-level certification framework designed specifically for SMBs to assess and progressively build cybersecurity maturity. For a limited time, qualifying customers and MSSPs will have access to complimentary SMB1001 certification credits, the companies said.

“SMBs face increasingly sophisticated AI threats without the security resources of the world’s largest enterprises,” said Jon Fox, vice president of channels and alliances for CrowdStrike Japan and Asia Pacific.

"Together with CyberCert, we're giving MSSPs a powerful way to bring enterprise-grade, AI-native protection to more SMBs while helping customers advance their cybersecurity maturity."

“Today’s threat landscape demands SMBs strengthen their cybersecurity while keeping pace with evolving standards,” Ryan Ettridge, co-founder and chief executive at CyberCert, said.

“By partnering with CrowdStrike, we’re enabling MSSPs to help SMBs progress toward SMB1001 certification while building stronger cyber defences with the Falcon platform.”

Earlier this year, Barracuda Networks announced a collaboration with CyberCert and a variety of MSPs to provide ANZ SMBs with a path to SMB1001 compliance certification through the BarracudaONE platform.
