V2 AI has appointed Josh Lopez as partner - applied AI, Shane Rendoth as partner - Brisbane, and Sam Harley as director - applied AI, as the consultancy expands its leadership to meet demand for enterprise AI implementation.
The three hires are aimed at deepening V2 AI's capacity to take organisations from AI proof-of-concept through to scaled deployment, across both strategic and technical disciplines.
Lopez joins from Versent, where he spent more than nine years and most recently served as head of digital and AI. His earlier roles at Versent included general manager NSW, head of cloud and technical director - cloud.
Before Versent, he worked with GE Capital across APJ in solution architecture and software engineering. At V2 AI, Lopez will focus on helping organisations translate emerging AI capabilities into practical business outcomes.
"AI is moving rapidly from experimentation into solving core business outcomes, and organisations need the architecture, data foundations, governance and engineering capability to make AI work reliably at scale," Lopez said.
Rendoth also comes from Versent, where he was head of major accounts, ANZ, leading a team of service partners on transformation and modernisation programmes spanning AI, data, security, identity and digital experience.
He has also held roles at Thoughtworks and Redman Solutions. Based in Brisbane, Rendoth will focus on connecting Queensland organisations' business ambitions with practical AI and technology strategies.
"The biggest challenge for many organisations is knowing where to focus their effort and investment to achieve the outcomes that matter," Rendoth said.
Harley brings more than 20 years of experience across enterprise technology, solutions architecture and AI. He joins from Elastic, where he was principal solutions architect working with strategic accounts across retail, banking and telecommunications, with a focus on AI architectures including vector search, retrieval-augmented generation and agentic AI.
He has also held senior roles at Databricks, MongoDB and Airwallex. Harley will work with V2 AI customers to design and deliver applied AI solutions connecting enterprise data, systems and workflows with emerging AI capabilities.
"I'm excited to be working with V2 AI to support scaled enterprise adoption while ensuring agentic trust, accuracy and governance," Harley said.
Craig Howe, chief executive at V2 AI, said the trio strengthens the consultancy across both strategic and technical dimensions of AI adoption.
"Josh and Sam bring deep applied AI and technical expertise, while Shane brings a strong commercial and strategic perspective on how organisations turn technology investment into meaningful outcomes," Howe said.
