Digital transformation company UST has implemented Juniper Networks' artificial intelligence-native networking platform across its offices in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

The deployment encompasses UST's entire global workforce of over 30,000 employees across 30 countries.

UST has replaced its legacy infrastructure with Juniper's Mist platform, which unifies wired and wireless access, along with data centre switching, under the Marvis artificial intelligence engine.

The company said it has seen significant reduction in trouble tickets since the deployment began, as well as observed improved network performance across its global operations.

Juniper's artificial intelligence-driven platform uses machine learning and data science techniques to deliver consistent end-to-end user experiences.

"Our transition to the Mist AI-native networking platform has redefined what's possible for UST's network infrastructure, significantly reducing complexity and enabling us to be agile, adaptive, and efficient," Ranjith Ravindran, head of infrastructure at UST, said.

The implementation includes Juniper's Wireless and Wired Assurance cloud services.

UST acquired Melbourne-headquartered automation consultancy Leonardo in February 2024, which brought over 70 staff specialising in business process improvement, automation and integration services.

In April 2024, UST purchased Sydney-based strategy consultancy Strativity Group, a boutique firm specialising in customer experience strategy and design with 15 permanent staff across offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
