IREN completes acquisition of Mirantis
IREN has completed the acquisition of Mirantis, a provider of cloud software and services, through the issuance of approximately 12.6 million ordinary shares, fixed at signing, plus cash, restricted stock units and other consideration of approximately US$40m as of closing.
The acquisition deepens IREN’s capabilities across AI workload orchestration, monitoring and customer support, further strengthening its vertically integrated AI Cloud platform spanning owned and operated data centers, compute and software.
The acquisition also supports IREN’s strategy to serve a large and diverse customer base over time, including hyperscalers, enterprises and AI developers across bare metal and managed cloud services, and has already facilitated several of IREN’s announced and prospective AI Cloud contracts.
Mirantis brings software engineering and technical expertise, and a track record of serving more than 1,500 enterprise customers globally.
Mirantis is an inaugural partner of the NVIDIA AI Cloud Ready Initiative, and has integrated k0rdent AI with NVIDIA DSX OS software components, supporting current and next-generation NVIDIA architectures. The open-source k0rdent AI platform will continue to be developed and supported for Mirantis’ customers.
The combination brings together IREN’s owned and operated data centers and compute with Mirantis’ flexible, interoperable software layer, giving customers greater choice and control in how they deploy and scale AI workloads.
Fortinet acquires Virtue AI
Fortinet has announced it has acquired Virtue AI, a company specialising in AI runtime protection, automated AI validation, and security for autonomous AI systems.
The acquisition advances the company’s broader Security for AI strategy and vision for securing the agentic enterprise, building on Fortinet's existing AI security solution portfolio, including its FortiGate Hyperscale Firewall.
Following on from the launch of FortiAIGate earlier this year,, which safeguards LLMs from prompt injections, data leakage, model poisoning, excessive resource consumption, and other emerging AI-specific risks, Virtue AI extends that security to AI models, applications, and agentic systems, from development through runtime, leveraging Virtue AI’s Guardian Agent abilities and key product capabilities.
This includes agentic system red-teaming; agent protection, governance, and visibility; continuous AI validation; and real-time guardrails.
Elastic completes acquisition of Deductive AI
Elastic has completed the acquisition of Deductive AI, an AI-powered investigation platform that helps engineering teams identify and resolve production issues faster.
The acquisition advances Elastic's goal to set the standard for production incident investigation by bringing more AI-powered investigation and automation to Elastic Observability.
Deductive AI adds an AI SRE agent that gathers evidence, forms and tests hypotheses, and reasons across code, telemetry, and organizational knowledge to determine root cause. Its investigation engine learns which paths lead to useful evidence and successful outcomes, so every investigation can improve the next.
Combined with Elastic’s ability to infer meaningful entities, relationships, and significant operational events from telemetry, these capabilities will help engineering teams investigate and resolve production issues faster.
Existing Deductive AI customers will continue to receive support while integration plans are developed. Additional product roadmap details will be shared in the coming months.
4DS to acquire Jenesys
4DS Memory has acquired Jenesys, an Australian Edge-AI and autonomous systems software company which develops software capabilities that enable intelligent autonomous systems coordination across air, land, sea and space.
The Acquisition combines 4DS’s proprietary PCMO-based resistive memory (ReRAM) technology with Jenesys’s Edge-AI software and autonomous systems capability to create an integrated hardware-software platform targeting computing-in-memory (CIM) and neuromorphic computing applications.
4DS’ validated 60nm PCMO ReRAM platform will remain a leading focus of the company’s technology and development program. The acquisition enables the company to progress the development and potential commercialisation of its existing technology through an integrated, capital-efficient pathway.
LITEON announces strategic investment in DCX
LITEON Technology has announced a strategic investment in DCX Liquid Cooling Systems, a Poland-based provider of advanced liquid cooling systems for AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers.
Upon closing of the transaction, LITEON will hold approximately 25% equity ownership in DCX Liquid Cooling Systems with a total transaction value of approximately US$176 million.
The investment brings together DCX's expertise in liquid cooling technologies, including coolant distribution units (CDUs), facility coolant distribution units (FDUs), cold plates and immersion cooling systems, with LITEON's strengths in AI server power management, rack-level power delivery and 800VDC power architectures.
Together, the two companies are positioned to deliver highly integrated power and thermal management solutions for the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure and next-generation high-density computing market.
Through this strategic partnership, LITEON and DCX Liquid Cooling Systems will expand collaboration across product development, engineering innovation, manufacturing scale-up, and global go-to-market initiatives. The companies will jointly develop integrated power-and-cooling platforms designed to address the increasing performance and efficiency demands of the hyperscale data center customers worldwide.
ClickHouse acquires RunReveal
ClickHouse, a company specialising in real-time analytics, data warehousing, observability, and AI/ML, has acquired RunReveal, the unified platform that handles the entire security lifecycle -from data ingestion through investigation and remediation.
For companies already building security products on ClickHouse, ClickHouse remains a neutral foundation. For security teams evaluating ClickHouse, RunReveal remains available, via its bring-your-own-database model, where security data lives in a ClickHouse cluster that customers control. For RunReveal customers, the platform continues to be supported and contract terms remain the same.
Munich Re Group to acquire cyber insurtech At-Bay
Munich Re Group has agreed to acquire At-Bay, Inc., a U.S.-based insurtech company that provides cyber insurance and proactive cybersecurity solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
The acquisition is a strategic move to strengthen Munich Re’s and Hartford Steam Boiler's (HSB) position as a leader in the cyber market by combining insurance with proactive risk mitigation and a state-of-the-art technology platform.
It also positions the company for greater access to a cyber market that is rapidly evolving from standalone coverage - which Munich Re already provides - towards integrated, continuously managed risk mitigation platforms.
The definitive agreement was concluded at an enterprise value of US$575 million. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions, including the required regulatory approvals, and is expected in the first quarter of 2027.
The At-Bay business will be overseen by HSB, the technology-forward and cyber-focused arm of the Munich Re Specialty portfolio of insurance solutions. A main strategic partner since At-Bay’s founding in 2017, HSB has supported At-Bay’s development.
At-Bay currently employs approximately 280 employees in the U.S. and Israel.
At-Bay primarily serves the SME market in the U.S., focusing on organisations that face increasing cyber risk but often lack the resources and expertise of large enterprises to manage cybersecurity effectively.
Through their unified security platform, At-Bay continuously identifies, monitors, and reduces insured cyber risk across the full policy lifecycle while also driving data insights to improve underwriting practices and security innovation.
GE Aerospace to acquire Consolidated Precision Products
GE Aerospace has signed an agreement to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP), a manufacturer of highly engineered castings, from private investment firms Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners.
CPP, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, manufactures highly engineered castings and sub-assemblies primarily for the commercial aerospace and defense markets.
Founded in 1991, CPP is one of the world's largest producers of investment and precision sand castings, producing complex super alloy, titanium, aluminum, magnesium and steel castings for a variety of leading commercial and military aircraft, weapon systems, commercial and regional/business jets, helicopters and industrial gas turbines.
CPP has a global team of ~6,600 employees across more than 20 facilities. GE Aerospace has been a CPP customer for over fifteen years.
The purchase price of US$11.75 billion to be financed with $7 billion in cash, with the remainder in new debt. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2027 and will be subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
UST and Italdesign unite design, engineering, and AI
UST has completed the acquisition of the majority stake in Italdesign from the Audi Group.
As the automotive industry rapidly shifts toward software-defined, AI-enabled and increasingly connected vehicles, the partnership brings together Italdesign’s design and engineering expertise with US-based UST’s strengths in automotive engineering, AI, software-defined vehicles, and digital ecosystem design.
Together, the companies will aim to help manufacturers address the growing complexity of next-generation mobility by accelerating innovation from concept through production.
Trafera acquires Morris Electronics
Trafera Holdings, LLC, a provider of technology hardware, software and support services for the K-12 and higher education markets and a portfolio company of Rotunda Capital Partners, has acquired Morris Electronics Inc. (“Morris”), an IT solutions provider based in Morris, Minnesota.
Morris has designed, implemented and supported technology solutions for state and local government agencies and businesses, including network and application design, cybersecurity and IT management outsourcing since 1991.
The acquisition brings Morris' public-sector relationships and managed services expertise into Trafera's platform, while giving Morris' customers access to Trafera's broader suite of devices, infrastructure and technology solutions.
The acquisition reflects Trafera's ongoing strategy of partnering with respected regional IT and managed services providers to build a larger, diversified technology platform serving customers across the country.
Nexxis Technology completes acquisition of BladeBUG
Nexxis Technology has completed the acquisition of BladeBUG, a UK-based robotics company developing advanced solutions for wind turbine inspection and maintenance.
The acquisition expands the company's capabilities in the global wind and renewable-energy markets while bringing together complementary robotic technologies, engineering expertise and customer networks.
BladeBUG has developed a suction-based robotic platform designed to move across wind turbine blades and other non-ferrous or composite surfaces. Nexxis Technology's Magneto robotic platform uses electromagnetic adhesion to operate on ferrous metal structures.
Bringing these capabilities together will allow the combined business to address a wider range of surfaces, assets and operating environments. Nexxis also plans to integrate its modular system architecture, artificial intelligence, machine vision and data capabilities into future product development.
The acquisition will strengthen the companies' ability to deliver robotic solutions that improve inspection quality, reduce human exposure to hazardous work and provide better data for asset owners and operators.
The combined engineering teams will explore opportunities to connect BladeBUG's suction-based adhesion technology with Nexxis' Magneto electromagnetic technology and modular robotic architecture. This approach is intended to support robotic inspection across ferrous, non-ferrous and composite surfaces, creating broader applications within wind energy and other asset-intensive industries.
BladeBUG's London office will become an important part of Nexxis Technology's UK and European presence. It will support regional customers, partnerships, engineering collaboration and future commercial growth.
For customers, the acquisition is expected to provide access to a broader range of technologies and stronger engineering support. Both companies will continue to support existing customers, projects and commitments while the integration program progresses.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
