SoftwareOne ANZ leaders cut the ribbon on their new North Sydney office on Tuesday, following the completion of the company's acquisition of Crayon in July 2025.
The ribbon cutting followed SoftwareOne’s global announcement on January 29 2026 of the transition of the Crayon brand to SoftwareOne. That change will be made in Australia in April 2026.
Staff moved into the North Sydney office late last year, and this week several hundred staff members were expected at the location for an annual business kick-off event.
Spokespeople at the event pushed the message that the two companies would be a combined force, bringing together SoftwareOne’s services and cloud capabilities and Crayon’s channel partner business.
“By bringing our people together,” stated Mathew Howard, General Manager Channel, at SoftwareOne ANZ, “we are making it easier for customers and partners to access deeper expertise, broader services, and a truly end-to-end approach, from software sourcing to cloud, security, and managed services.”
The combined organisation’s capabilities also include AI and data, application services and technology lifecycle management.
Our ambition is clear: we are here to be the leading AI-powered software and cloud provider trusted to optimise IT costs, enable innovation, and solve complex challenges for our customers, and I am confident of our ability to do so with our combined powerhouse," stated Trevor Grech, General Manager Direct, at SoftwareOne ANZ.
At the time the acquisition was completed in mid-2025, the company’s combined revenue was approximately AU$2.9 billion and it was one of Microsoft’s largest partners.
