Open Channel Solutions (OCS) has signed an exclusive distribution agreement to move an open source compliance management software suite developed by Black Duck Software.
Under the new arrangement, which covers Australia and New Zealand, OCS would sell Black Duck’s protexIP software suite to resellers targeting enterprise, government, agencies, law firms and software developers.
The deal also provides OCS with a new product suite for its open source software portfolio also includes product from the Novell software suite.
Con Fiamegos managing director of OCS’ said in statement: “The protexIP platform helps organisations manage software licensing issues by validating software contents, verifying license compliance, and finding and addressing issues early in the development or due diligence process,” he said.
