OneTeam IT appoints Robert Sherry as CEO

OneTeam IT has appointed Robert Sherry as CEO, effective 1 July 2026.

He joins OneTeam IT with extensive leadership experience in the technology sector, including over 24 years at IBM Australia.

He will lead the company's next phase of growth as OneTeam IT continues to expand its managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure and professional services capabilities across Australia.

Founded in 2021 through the merger of Team Computing and Sundata, OneTeam IT is an Australian-owned technology solutions provider delivering managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, business continuity and professional services to organisations across Australia. 

Peter Sanderson, MD of OneTeam IT, said the appointment marks an exciting new chapter for OneTeam IT.

OneTeam IT continues to expand its national presence across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane while delivering solutions spanning artificial intelligence, managed services, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, data centre hosting and professional services.

After a transition period, Peter Sanderson will move to an executive director role focused on OneTeam’s digital transformation work with their enterprise customers.

In 2024, OneTeam IT acquired Brisbane business continuity services firm MSD Information Technology for an undisclosed fee.
