Leader brings 4GX router vendor Teltonika to portfolio

Leader Systems has secured another vendor to add to its lineup, this time with European manufacturer Teltonika.

The vendor offers industrial LTE routers as well as vehicle tracking and management products. Teltonika already has a presence in Australia with its Teltonika RUT950 routers specifically designed to support Telstra, Optus and Vodafone's 4GX networks.

Teltonika said that its vehicle tracking and monitoring devices were ripe for growth in the APAC market. The devices can interface with a vehicle's onboard computer to measure metrics like fuel consumption, service intervals and engine temperature.

“We are very happy to announce a new partnership with Leader – as one of the fastest growing IT wholesale distributors in the IoT segment, we are certain they will add great value to Teltonika in the Australian market," Teltonika sales manager Andrius Radziunas said.

Teltonika and Leader have formed this partnership in order to bring faster, more flexible, and more cost-effective solutions to the IoT industry.”

Leader's product manager for Teltonika Chris Sutherland said the vendor complements Leader's existing VoIP, wireless, routing and switching offerings.

"Having an always-on LTE/WAN failover system like Teltonika ensures that our resellers can provide the most complex of solutions with peace of mind, allowing them to focus on growth and profitability," he added.

Leader has added several vendors to its portfolio in 2018, including WatchGuard, Sennheiser, along with 30 new vendors when it acquired the Anyware distribution business from Harris Technology in August.
