David Piggott, the VP and MD of ANZ for communications and audio electronics vendor Jabra, is leaving the business.
He joined the company in 2015 as regional manager of sales, and prior to this, senior account manager for Cisco.
He has also served in roles such as global account director at Avaya, contact centre sales specialist at Telstra Enterprise and Government and business development manager at Touchbase Australia.
In a LinkedIn post, Piggott said that it was the "privilege of [his] career" to lead that journey.
"When I joined Jabra, we were a small challenger with big ambitions. Together with an extraordinary team, incredible partners and loyal customers, we built something special—taking Jabra to the #1 position in the Australian and New Zealand market," he said.
"Now it’s time for a very different adventure. In August, you’ll find me in Thredbo as a ski instructor, helping kids discover the joy and confidence that comes from sliding down a mountain for the very first time. I can’t think of a better classroom.
"Then in September, I’m heading to northern India to spend time at a karmic retreat—slowing down, learning, reflecting and exploring what the next chapter might hold. After decades focused on building businesses and leading teams, I’m looking forward to investing some time in building myself."
