Communications and audio electronics vendor Jabra has announced David Piggott as its new ANZ managing director.
"We’re very excited to welcome David to Jabra and believe that with his knowledge and skills with customers and channels, he will continue to drive success with our audio solutions," said Jabra Asia-Pacific president Mark Leigh.
Piggott will oversee Jabra's direct and partner relationships out of his base in Sydney.
His most recent post was at Cisco as a regional manager for service provider sales, a role that included building Optus' regional cloud strategy for the telco's collaboration and infrastructure-as-a-service products.
Piggott also boasts previous managerial roles at Avaya, Telstra and Touchbase.
"He has a proven track record in sales and business development within the IT, networking and customer contact industry, and will be a real asset to Jabra as we grow our business in Australia and New Zealand," said Leigh.
Jabra is best known in Australia for its speakerphones and wireless headsets.
