Hemisphere Technologies has signed on mobile security vendor Pulse Secure to be one of its key distributors in Australia.

Pulse Secure was spun off from Juniper Networks in 2014 and offers a secure access solution, comprised of network access control, secure VPN and mobile device management and security. The vendor also sells some Juniper's legacy products and partners with Palo Alto Networks and Ruckus Wireless for its solutions.

"We're thrilled to add Hemisphere Technologies as a key distributor, and are certain our relationship will open new doors in the market and across specialist vertical markets," Doug Erickson, Pulse Secure vice president of partner sales, said.

"Hemisphere Technologies is not only the right fit for our growing global community of partners, they are a leader in providing multi-layered security approaches in the region."

Hemisphere managing director Andrew Mamonitis said the distributor was looking for a partner that would offer dedicated lead generation and project fulfilment support.

"We hand pick our partners with the greatest of care to ensure we are offering the best solution available in the market. We're excited to include Pulse Secure's Secure Access solution to our range," he said.

Hemisphere Technology has had three exclusive distributor deals with vendors in the past six months, including Centrify, F-Secure and Trustwave. The distributor also signed deals with Backbox and Menlo Security.

Pulse Secure is also distributed via InTechnology and Westcon-Comstar.

Hemisphere is a security specialist distributor with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
