Insight Enterprises has launched Insight Managed Exposure Defense, a bundled managed security service designed to help organisations defend against AI-driven autonomous attacks across APAC, including Australia and New Zealand.
The offering combines five integrated capabilities - continuous threat exposure management, managed patch operations, software supply chain risk, software developer outsourcing and managed extended detection and response (XDR) - delivered under a single contract with one accountable delivery team.
Patching applications and operating systems are two of the Australian Signals Directorate's Essential Eight mitigation strategies, with mandatory timeframes when a working exploit exists. Organisations subject to the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 or APRA's CPS 234 also face scrutiny over how quickly they close known exposures, Insight noted.
The managed patch component covers a broad range of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, UNIX and Apple iOS, as well as networking operating systems such as Palo Alto PAN-OS and Cisco IOS, and database-tier patching.
The managed XDR capability provides 24/7 detection, triage and response from Insight's global security operations centres across the US, UK, India and the Philippines.
The programme is aligned to NIST CSF 2.0, NIST AI RMF, HIPAA and SEC disclosure rules, among other frameworks.
"Security teams are being asked to manage growing volumes of vulnerabilities, accelerate patching cycles, and maintain resilience, often with constrained resources," said Mike Morgan, senior vice president and managing director APAC at Insight.
"Insight Managed Exposure Defense was designed to help organisations close that gap and stay ahead of rapidly evolving threats."
Insight said its own environment is protected by the same capabilities that make up the service.
Insight Managed Exposure Defense is available now across APAC.
