Hemisphere Technologies signs distie deal with F-Secure

Hemisphere Technologies has landed an exclusive distribution deal with cyber security vendor F-Secure.

F-Secure global director of new business development Tapio Koskinen said the partnership was the next step in building its channel ecosystem in Australia.

"Our partnership with Hemisphere delivers to us a management team with extensive experience in introducing and growing IT security brands across the region," said Koskinen.

"The team at Hemisphere is well placed to provide partners with the tools to translate our solutions into sales opportunities for their business."

Hemisphere Technologies’ managing director, Andrew Mamonitis said that F-Secure has a "mature B2B portfolio with an established cloud solution; delivers light endpoint agents; and offers partners scalability through its MSP offerings".

Based in Finland, F-Secure's security portfolio includes antivirus, internet security and privacy solutions for enterprise and consumer customers.

In May, Sydney-based Hemisphere was given access to security vendor Trustwave's entire product portfolio. Hemisphere was already a Trustwave distributor, initially with exclusive access to the vendor's Secure Email Gateway Cloud service.

Previously, Hemisphere was a MailGuard distributor until the partnership came to an end in March 2016.

Hemisphere is a security specialist distributor and has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
