Dicker Data has announced new partnerships with seven vendors to support partners in cloud migration services.
The news follows Dicker's appointment as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) distributor in June. The new vendors include xRM, which supports Microsoft Dynamics deployments, and Skykick, a tool for Microsoft cloud migrations that was also one of the first vendors added to the Australian cloud marketplace of rival distributor Ingram Micro.
The other new vendors include Maaxcloud, Corent Technology and Gumbaya. Dicker's partnership with cloud migration provider BitTitan had previously been announced in December 2015.
The company's founder, David Dicker, said: "Off the back of the success and our desire keep in front of the competition, alliances with companies like BitTitan are crucial to ensure our partners are enabled to complete the work required to deploy the Office 365 solutions we’re providing."
According to Dicker Data, the new partnerships bring a range of cloud products and services that enable its resellers to enter and capitalise on the cloud market.
Dicker said: "We’re pleased to be welcoming a number of new cloud specific vendors to our portfolio. The products and services offered by these vendors are a complementary addition to our existing vendor line-up, particularly following the commencement of trading as a Microsoft indirect CSP. They’ll assist partners in migrating to the cloud and broaden the range of cloud offerings our partners take to market."
Dicker Data started officially trading as a Microsoft Indirect CSP partner on 1 September.
"We intend to continue recruiting more cloud enablement and service-based vendors in the near future as we look to build a comprehensive suite of offerings to support our partner's cloud business transformations. By assisting our partners to secure subscription revenue, we’re also building that level of predictability into our future revenue," said Dicker.
