Today we are excited to begin telling stories for Australian technology partners under our new name: techpartner.news.
For more than 20 years, we’ve been fortunate to cover Australian technology partners’ people, businesses and industry. We’ve been privileged to be part of conversations with them about their challenges and achievements.
Business technology has evolved far beyond the days of reselling computers (though that’s still important). It involves everything from managed services and system integration to user identity security, process automation, cloud computing and change management. Australian organisations of all sizes rely on technology partners for everything from IT support and cybersecurity to digital transformation.
So our name has changed to reflect this reality. Previously, our name was CRN Australia. But from today, we are now techpartner.news.
Our mission remains helping Australian technology partners succeed. That includes senior decision makers in small, medium-sized and large technology businesses.
We’re looking forward to continuing to bring you more independent news, insights and analysis via our daily newsletter (if you are already subscribed to our Channelwire newsletter you won’t need to re-subscribe) and our other channels including LinkedIn.
Security awards, Channel Guru, The IT Nation, Tech Research Asia
In 2025, we’ll bring you new content and other initiatives, including activities to connect tech partners with iTnews’ and Digital Nation’s audience of thousands of technology decision makers in Australian business and government.
Our new activities in 2025 include:
- Our first combined iTnews-techpartner.news Benchmark Security Awards in November, recognising standout CISOs from end user organisations and top cybersecurity partners
- iTnews-techpartner.news reports about end user organisations’ technology partnership priorities, challenges and successes
- An exclusive new article series from Brad Clarke’s Channel Guru team
- Data and insights about Australian partner businesses from The IT Nation.
- Events for tech partners interested in M&A, brought to you in partnership with Tech Research Asia in July in Sydney and Melbourne
That’s in addition to products we are known for, including our Pipeline conference in August, Fast50 awards, Impact Awards, Channel Meets, State of the MSP report and MSP Index program.
We’re also excited about continuing our work with others in this industry, from peer groups and industry associations to distributors, marketplaces, technology vendors, advisors, business coaches, investors, financers and others they work with.
On the commercial front, our clients remain companies wanting to work with, sell to, invest in, buy, finance, insure, provide legal and other advice to, coach and work in other ways with technology partners. We continue to build and deliver sponsored reports, articles, roundtables and other events and activities for them, and amplify their events and other activities.
