Telecommunications and mobility specialist distributor VExpress has struck a partnership with Konference to bring products from Swedish audio conferencing vendor Konftel to its partners.
Konference, a conference communication hardware distributor, was established in January 2018 to bring Konftel's audio conferencing solutions to partners in the Asia-Pacific channel.
“VExpress is very excited to be given the privilege to distribute Konftel products throughout Australia with Konference," VExpress general manager David McEwan said.
"Konftel products are known for their high quality and ease of use, optimising and certifying their products with most major UC platforms i.e. Avaya, Alcatel, Cisco, Broadsoft, Huawei and NEC to name a few."
Konference general manager Adrian Chu said the new partnership came at a busy time for the distributor, as Konftel was preparing to launch its first range of collaboration solutions for audio and video endpoints soon.
“We’re thrilled to join the VExpress family and will benefit from their expertise and industry knowledge, as well as their relationship with their partner network," Chu said.
"This partnership will further strengthen the Konftel brand name in the market and ultimately reach more customers who want a great audio conferencing experience.”
VExpress' other vendor partners include Alcatel-Lucent, Audiocodes, Avaya, BlueJeans, MessageMe, NETGEAR, Northbridge Secure, Sennheiser and StarLeaf.
In August last year, VExpress spun out its Telstra business to form a new distributor called Exltech, which specialises in cloud, mobility, NBN and voice products from the telco.
Konference and Konftel also partner with Westcon-Comstor in Australia and New Zealand.
