Dicker Data's head of sales departs

Yasser Elgammal joined the company in November 2014, tasked with "proactively developing Dicker Data’s cloud strategy in close partnership with key vendors" and taking operational responsibility for the national sales team.

New CEO takes over at Virtual IT Group

Maurice McCarthy joins from Optus, where he served as MD of customer success from 2021 to 2025 and VP of retail and channel sales from 2017 to 2021.

V2 AI hires three

The AI and data consultancy named Hannah Williams as MD, Peter Burns as partner and Michael Ewald as director.

NEXTDC appoints head of security and government strategy

Justin Bowden joins from Amazon Web Services, where he was security assurance region lead for ANZO for over four years.

Rachael Broadfoot promoted at Microsoft

She takes over as senior partner sales manager - cloud and AI, working with channel partners to help enterprise customers accelerate their cloud and AI transformation. She joined the company in 2021 as senior partner development manager. Prior to this, she worked at Citrix, SAP Concur and Avnet Technology Solutions ANZ.

BeyondTrust appoints new ANZ partner manager

Based in Melbourne, Frank Cesarini will be responsible for managing and enabling BeyondTrust’s channel partner organisations within the region and supporting partner go-to-market strategies and sales.

Jason Ha joins MyCISO

He joins from Ethan, where he served as CISO since August 2022.

Delinea appoints Cynthia Lee as VP of APAC

Based in Singapore, she brings a "strong track record of building and scaling sales functions" across the region, according to the company, having previously held leadership roles at Cyberint, Aqua Security, and CyberArk, where she drove enterprise adoption and regional expansion.  

Databricks appoints Ashraf Safdar as APJ financial services go-to-market lead

Based in Singapore, he will lead Databricks’ financial services GTM strategy across APJ, working closely with customers and partners to help banks, insurers, and capital markets firms accelerate their data and AI initiatives. 

He joins Databricks from Amazon Web Services, where he held senior leadership roles, most recently as Cross-Industry Sales Leader for Financial Services. He has also held leadership positions at renowned financial institutions, including HSBC Private Bank, IHS Markit, and UBS spanning commercial and advisory strategy, risk analytics and business transformation.

Tanium appoints Satyen Desai as regional VP for ASEAN 

Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for accelerating Tanium’s growth in the region as demand grows for resilient, real-time endpoint management and security, according to the company.

Prior to joining Tanium, he held leadership roles at ColorTokens, Cloudflare, Oracle , SAP and Cisco. He helped scale go-to-market operations, expand strategic accounts, and strengthen partner ecosystems in the region. 

Tanium also strengthened its leadership bench in APAC with three more new hires.

Junya Saito, VP of APAC, will oversee full commercial leadership for the APAC region, including revenue growth, sales, team development, and market expansion; James Greenwood, AVP for solution engineering, will drive Solution Engineering (SE/Pre-Sales) across the region; and Yasir Yousuff, VP of marketing for APJ, will head overall marketing strategy and execution across the Asia Pacific & Japan region.

KnowBe4 hires four new sales leaders in Singapore 

Daniel Nguyen, senior director of sales, will lead and scale KnowBe4’s regional direct and channel sales strategy, driving growth through a hybrid go-to-market model. Steve Lee, director of enterprise sales, will lead enterprise sales across Asia, partnering with large organisations to strengthen security culture and reduce human risk.

Manish Wali, director of sales (SMB/MM), will oversee the SMB and mid-market segments, expanding access to KnowBe4’s human risk management platform. Alex Low, director of channel sales, will head channel sales, deepening partner engagement and enabling deployments across the region.

Securonix promotes Ajay Biyani to senior vice president, APJ 

In this expanded role, he will lead regional strategy, go-to-market execution, partner ecosystem development, and customer success initiatives across the region. 

Since joining Securonix in 2022, the company has delivered sustained year-over-year revenue growth while expanding adoption of its Unified Defense SIEM platform across financial services, telecommunications, government, and other regulated industries. 

Biyani - who is based in Singapore - also strengthened the regional MSSP and channel ecosystem, with strategic partnerships contributing "significantly" to pipeline growth and accelerating SaaS adoption across enterprise accounts. 

Tech Council of Australia appoints new CEO

Dr Kate Cornick will succeed current TCA CEO Damian Kassabgi as he moves to the role of Special Adviser to the Board.

Kate Vidgen becomes board member at Macquarie Technology Group

She will join as an independent non-executive director following the release of the company’s FY26 half-year results.

In addition to 26 years in executive roles at Macquarie Group, Vidgen has also had more than a decade of experience across the spectrum of board roles – private and institutional equity, large listed, government and not-for-profits. This includes prior roles as a non-executive director at Aurizon Holdings Ltd, the Chair of Quadrant Energy Pty Limited.

Australian wealth management tech company Praemium reduces IT headcount

Following the integration of Technotia Laboratories' capabilities with the current Praemium technology division, the restructure will see a reduction of full-time staff based in Australia and the closure of software development operations in Armenia by the end of the 2026 financial year.
