AI and data consultancy V2 AI has named Hannah Williams as MD, Peter Burns as partner and Michael Ewald as director.
After achieving close to 100% revenue growth in 2025, V2 AI is entering a scale-up phase in 2026, with consultant headcount expected to more than double to support continued growth.
Williams brings nearly eight years of senior leadership experience across Amazon and AWS, where she led enterprise growth, strategic initiatives and regional operations across Asia Pacific and Japan. Most recently, she served as head of Asia Pacific and Japan at Amazon LEO, formally Amazon Project Kuiper.
Previously, she held multiple senior leadership roles at AWS, including ANZ energy and industrial segment lead, head of ANZ strategic initiatives for enterprise, head of large enterprise, and head of commercial sales. Prior to Amazon and AWS, Williams led the expansion of WorkFusion into ANZ and served as VP and GM for ANZ at SAP SuccessFactors.
“I’m thrilled to be joining V2 AI at a time when organisations are shifting from AI pilots to enterprise-wide adoption,” said Williams.
“V2 AI’s focus on combining deep technical capability with strong governance and commercial outcomes is exactly what enterprises need as AI becomes core to how they operate.”
Burns previously served as a key account executive at Google Cloud, where he partnered with large enterprises to design and deliver data platforms, analytics strategies and AI-driven solutions at scale, with a focus on data governance, responsible AI and secure cloud adoption. Previously, he worked in technical and leadership roles at FICO, Fiserv, Woolworths and Standard Bank.
“Decisioning and intelligence leveraging AI at the core, is reshaping how organisations across all industries compete. That said, each sector faces unique challenges and benefits differently across use cases,” said Burns.
“V2 AI specialises in financial services, retail and energy and utilities industries and is uniquely positioned to help enterprises translate advanced technology into tangible business outcomes. With my deep retail experience, I’m excited to demonstrate how AI can unleash business potential - from enhancing customer experiences to supply chain optimisation.”
Ewald most recently served as MD at PwC Australia, where he led consulting teams helping organisations accelerate innovation through cloud computing and enterprise transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on delivering observability and compliant by design solutions.
He also held senior leadership roles at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, including executive manager of analytics and insights operations, where he led teams responsible for the group data warehouse, big data and advanced analytics platforms.
“I’m excited to join V2 AI and work with organisations that are serious about turning AI ambition into operational reality. AI is evolving the future of Observability, what I like to refer to as ‘Next-Gen Observability’, providing enterprise transparency with the superpowers of predictability and actionable insights,” said Ewald.
“Strong engineering foundations, quality delivery, observability and change management are critical to successful AI at scale.”
V2 AI founder and CEO, Craig Howe, said these appointments enable the company to deepen partnerships with existing clients, helping them shape their AI agenda from initial strategy through to broad execution.
"Simultaneously, this growth expands our capacity to take on new projects and meet the surging demand for agentic AI,” said Howe.
Williams will focus on client growth and partnerships, while Howe will continue to guide clients on their AI strategy as well as V2 AI’s long-term vision and growth.
The moves follow last month’s appointments of Nick Williams and Ebony Williams and the addition of Ian Nguyen at the end of 2025.
