The addition of the thirteenth truck is a result of increased demand for deliveries, route analysis and greater geographic coverage.
Ray Weng, logistic centre manager at Synnex said the distributor believes the fleet will continue to increase in size over time.
“Our trucks make deliveries twice a day. Our customers call us in the morning and by the afternoon they have their goods delivered,” he said.
Synnex also has a ‘just-in-time’ inventory management capability and an inventory management system, warehouse and despatch capability, said Weng.
