SailPoint has launched Unified Platform Access, a new initiative under its Technology Alliance Partners Program that gives technology partners and systems integrators direct access to the identity security vendor's Atlas platform to build native, certified integrations and commercial applications.
The programme replaces what SailPoint described as basic integration arrangements with a structured commercial framework combining a tiered annual membership fee with a shared-success revenue model. Partners gain access to advanced integration tools, certification pathways and joint go-to-market support.
SailPoint said the move responds to integration and implementation being cited by organisations as the single biggest barrier to security maturity. The aim is to let partners build validated, commercially viable applications that address industry-specific identity security challenges, reducing the need for months of custom-coded, bespoke integrations with HR, IT or specialist systems.
For channel partners and systems integrators, the programme opens a path to building differentiated offerings on top of SailPoint's platform, with certification from the vendor intended to give joint customers confidence in the solutions, according to the company.
"The Unified Platform Access program marks the evolution of our technology partner strategy," said Chris Gossett, chief growth officer at SailPoint.
"We are moving well beyond basic integrations to truly empower our partners to build their own unique and valuable solutions directly on the SailPoint Platform. This creates a powerful 'app economy' of innovation that will directly benefit our customers."
Nine partners are already building on the programme at launch: Aquera, Cerby, Grip Security, Key2XS, Living Security, Opnova, Orchid Security, RedBlock Security and Splan.
