Sydney-based digital conferencing facilitator CommuniCloud has struck a partnership with BlueJeans Network that will see it offer the US-based cloud video specialist's premier product.
BlueJeans' Primetime Video is a cloud-based video meeting platform that offers interactivity between meeting attendees and presenters across any device.
CommuniCloud and BlueJeans will collaborate to offer video communication, third party hardware technology and managed services.
"[The partnership] has allowed us to take a powerful technology platform and bring it together with our in-house concierge team to deliver an event managed face-to-face collaboration offering," Mark Dover, managing director of CommuniCloud, said.
BlueJeans Primetime powers large-scale, brand-building events for The Sundance Film Festival and TED events, according to the company.
The cloud video provider signed a partnership with Telstra in February 2014, which boosted the company's local presence.
According to BlueJeans, 400 Australian companies logged more than 40,000 international video meetings in 2015 using the firm’s video conferencing platform.
The company has named former Polycom executive James Brennan as its Asia-Pacific director and has 20 local staff.
