Supermarket giant Woolworths has joined JB Hi-Fi in reselling smartphones from Chinese vendor Oppo.
Starting Tuesday, Woolworths is selling the flagship Oppo R9 and R9 Plus models, along with the newly launched F1s.
The F1s is powered with a MT6750 octa-core processor with 3GB memory and runs Oppo's custom operating system ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1.
The 5.5-inch screen has 1280x720 resolution. The unit weighs 160 grams and is 15.45 mm thick.
The F1s comes with some improved features compared to the cheaper F1 model launched in February, including 32GB storage, a 16-megapixel front facing camera and 13 megapixel rear camera.
Woolworths sells the F1s on a $35 per month plan that includes 1GB of data, $1000 of standard national calls and unlimited texts. It also sells a $50 per month option with 3GB of data and a $70 monthly plan with 8GB, both with unlimited calls.
The F1s is sold outright from JB Hi-Fi and Oppo's website for $348.
Woolworths relaunched its mobile business in June 2015 on Telstra's 3G and 4G networks. The supermarket also sells a range of pre-paid mobile plans including phone plans with Samsung.
Last year Oppo signed an exclusive retail agreement with Dick Smith to sell its smartphone instore, featuring dedicated kiosks in 150 stores. After Dick Smith went under, in April Oppo switched its retail agreement to electronics retail giant JB Hi-Fi.
