ONYX, the company behind the CSP Growth Engine platform, has launched in Australia, targeting managed service providers and Microsoft partners looking to build more profitable Cloud Solution Provider practices.
The platform brings together deal analysis, proposal creation, licensing expertise, commercial modelling and customer opportunity identification, with the aim of reducing the manual effort partners traditionally need to build and scale a Microsoft CSP practice, the company said.
ONYX said the Australian launch will initially focus on MSPs and Microsoft partners looking to grow or optimise their CSP businesses, with the platform designed to help partners win CSP deals faster, improve profitability and uncover new services opportunities within their existing customer base.
The expansion will be led by Mark Underwood, who brings more than 25 years of experience across Microsoft licensing and the partner channel.
Underwood has worked with SoftwareOne, Data#3, Rhipe and Crayon, spanning Microsoft licensing analysis, major agreement transactions, CSP, Enterprise Agreements and hybrid CSP/EA models. Most recently, he led software sales teams at Crayon/SoftwareOne.
"There is a significant opportunity for Australian MSPs to make Microsoft CSP a much bigger part of their growth strategy," Underwood said.
"Most partners already have the most important ingredient - strong, trusted customer relationships. ONYX adds the licensing intelligence, commercial insight and automation that can help turn those relationships into more profitable Microsoft and services opportunities."
Underwood said the platform's objective goes beyond transaction volume.
"It's about helping partners engage customers earlier, make better commercial decisions, uncover opportunities they may be missing and ultimately build a more scalable and profitable Microsoft practice," he said.
