The Canterbury-Bankstown council in New South Wales has issued a tender for an information mangement system, to be privided by suitably qualifed and experienced contractors.
Such a system delivered by the successful candidate will enhance the council's record keeping capabilities within its Microsoft Sharepoint Online system, as well as its wider software stack.
It is expected that the solution will seamlessly integrate with the council's existing systems, an provide advanced features for record classification, retention, disposition, and auditing, as well as regulatory compliance.
Currently, the council's electronic document and record management system is Microsoft Sharepoint 2013, which will be migrated to Sharepoint Online by February 2025.
The amount of data involved as around 10.5 terabytes.
Proposed contract period for the new system is three years, with the possibility to extend for another two 12 month segments.
Commencement date is early February next year, with the work to be completed by April 2025.
Closing date for the tender is November 5 with an estimated decision date of January 31 next year.
