Kinetic IT has appointed Jeremy O’Donohue as MD of state government and critical infrastructure, strengthening its executive leadership across two of its most strategically significant and sovereign-critical markets.

He joins Kinetic IT from Capgemini, where he most recently led the firm’s public sector business across Australia and New Zealand.

In his new role, O'Donohue will be responsible for driving growth strategy, strengthening executive-level customer partnerships, and overseeing delivery outcomes across Kinetic IT’s state government and critical infrastructure customers nationwide.

He will work alongside Leighton Freene, MD for federal government, defence and national security, providing leadership across Kinetic IT’s priority public sector markets and aligning closely to where the company has driven growth.

As part of this leadership evolution, Cassie Loder has also been appointed chief customer officer, bringing together accountability for customer experience, partnerships, brand, and long-term growth across the business.

Shane Quinn, interim CEO of Kinetic IT, said these appointments reflect a deliberate focus on leadership depth, customer alignment, and execution capability aligned to key target markets, where customers are relying on the company to solve increasingly complex, mission-critical challenges.

“Jeremy’s appointment strengthens Kinetic IT’s leadership bench at a time of strong growth, bringing deep market insight and a proven ability to deliver," he said.

"The changes to our structure will sharpen accountability, strengthen customer focus, and support our targeted growth ambition.”

O’Donohue said the company's Australian ownership and customer focus were key drivers for him wanting to join Kinetic IT.

“Kinetic IT has built a strong reputation as a trusted Australian partner to government and critical infrastructure organisations," he said.

"I’m excited to join at this point in the company’s journey and to work with customers and teams to connect capabilities, strengthen partnerships, and deliver outcomes that genuinely matter.”

O'Donohue will be based on Australia’s east coast and will work nationally across Kinetic IT’s state government and critical infrastructure customers.
