Ingram Micro has unveiled a comprehensive solution today to aid Australian resellers as they shift to Adobe's VIP Marketplace, following the retirement of the latter vendor's VIP Buying Program for the commercial market by 31 May 2025.

By using the global technology solutions provider's new Xvantage platform, resellers can access the Adobe VIP Marketplace, Ingram Micro said.

From 1 June 2025, all new and renewal orders for commercial customers must go through the VIP Marketplace.

Xvantage boosts the user experience for Adobe partners with advanced automation, artificial intelligence-driven functionality, and intuitive upsell features.

The platform provides actionable business insights, helping resellers understand customer buying patterns and predict technology trends.

It simplifies subscription management, optimises accounting processes, and helps prevent license expirations.

Xvantage also features tools for revenue prediction and tracking, along with an autogenerated renewals function.

An enhanced quote management system allows partners to tailor offerings quickly and maintain full visibility into all quotes.

"Xvantage is more than just a website, portal or marketplace – it's Ingram Micro's digital twin", Trent Gomersall, director of cloud, cybersecurity and hybrid business at Ingram Micro, said.

Gomersall said Ingram Micro's was well-positioned to to support resellers during this transition, citing their decade-long alliance with Adobe.

The company has over 40 Ingram Micro-dedicated Adobe experts in Australia and New Zealand.

Jo Rought, senior director, digital media ANZ at Adobe, said the partnership with Ingram Micro would ensure a smooth transition for partners to the VIP Marketplace.

Over 300 resellers are currently using the VIP Marketplace programme.
