Two Gold Coast companies have merged to establish a single IT services, web and software development entity.
LCIT provides managed services, cloud solutions and IT integration with cross-over into web-solutions. iOnline is a web and software developer with services such as Google Apps migration and social media marketing.
The two brands will continue to operate under their own names, with LCIT operating all IT services, and iOnline handling web and software development.
The combined business will be a 14-staffed company, with iOnline's team relocating to LCIT's headquarters in Nerang.
LCIT managing director Jason Deacon will become managing director, while iOnline’s managing director Joshua Smith will take on a sales and marketing consultant role.
Smith said the merger came as a result of the need to expand into IT services after being forced to pass on customers.
“Our merger with LCIT provides the best of both worlds for iOnline clients as we are able to develop technology leading web solutions and now provide ongoing tech support in the one business,” said Smith.
“We will also be able to enhance the web development offering LCIT provides through our 15-plus years experience in that space. Ultimately, we now have the capacity to compete in a broader state and national market through the larger business.”
LCIT's customers include the Australian Government Directory and Baskin and Robins. iOnline's customer include Wyndham Vacation Resorts, AB Paterson College and Bond University .
