Glenn Irvine has started ArgentEdge, a Queensland-based AI-led workplace transformation consultancy.
Irvine was previously at NCS Group Australia, serving in the roles of national lead for Google solutions and before that, national lead for the partner solutions division.
Prior to NCS, he was at Dialog (which NCS acquired in 2022 for $325 million) for over a decade as head of cloud and emerging technologies.
ArgentEdge's focus areas include Google Workspace and Gemini advisory, licensing and resale, as well as migration, deployment and change management for Google-first workplaces.
The consultancy also offers fractional AI leader services - embedding senior AI deployment experience for organisations that need leadership without a full-time hire - plus Gemini Enterprise and Google Cloud AI integration to go along with cyber resilience across Google, JumpCloud and Huntress.
"Twelve months ago, Gemini was an 8% sideshow in the AI traffic numbers. Today it's a quarter of the entire global AI internet, and climbing. That's not hype — that's the market voting with its mouse clicks," Irvine said.
"What's really driving it is the agentic shift. We've moved past the chatbot novelty era and into AI that actually does the work - agents that draft, decide, summarise, and action across Google Workspace, Gemini Enterprise and the broader Google Cloud stack.
"For Australian SMB and mid-market leaders, the question is no longer 'should we adopt AI?' It's 'how do we deploy it safely, with the right guardrails, and get our people working alongside it tomorrow morning?' That's exactly what ArgentEdge was built to do."
