Brisbane-headquartered MCGlobal Solutions said it has formed a strategic partnership with IFS Ultimo to deliver enterprise asset management solutions across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

The collaboration seeks to address a market gap, with recent IFS Ultimo research showing 90 per cent of companies see improved enterprise asset management software as crucial to future maintenance strategies, yet only 60 per cent have implemented such systems.

"Our collaboration with IFS Ultimo enhances the accessibility of asset decision-making within the EAM industry, empowering organisations to manage operations more efficiently, minimise equipment downtime, and ultimately drive improved performance," Steve Martin, managing director of MCGlobal said.

The partnership brings IFS Ultimo's cloud-based platform, currently used by more than 2,300 companies globally, to new markets.

It enables real-time maintenance management, incident tracking, and equipment monitoring through a single interface.

Early implementations have shown significant results across multiple sectors. In healthcare, 90 per cent of hospitals in the Netherlands have adopted the solution for medical equipment diagnostics.

"This partnership is about leveraging the strengths of both companies to bring a truly innovative solution to the markets of MCGlobal," James Mansfield, channel sales director at IFS Ultimo said.

Manufacturing clients have reported time savings between 60 and 70 per cent on quality checks across more than 1500 assets, while facilities management users have seen task resolution rates increase by 40 per cent.

The cloud-based platform allows organisations to manage assets, logistics, and lifecycle management remotely, supporting industries including healthcare and manufacturing in their digital transformation efforts.

MCGlobal Solutions will provide local expertise in enterprise asset management and facilities management software consultancy, complementing IFS Ultimo's technology platform.

Woodside Energy, News Corp Australia, Fremantle Ports, Airbus and Sunshine Coast Airport are among MCGlobal's clients.

Netherlands based IFS Ultimo is part of Swedish enterprise software conglomerate Industrial and Financial Systems, with over 7000 employees in 80 countries.
