Dicker Data stock hits record high

Dicker Data’s exceptional run on the Australian share market continues, with the stock price reaching $1 for the first time.

The stock briefly hit the mark mid-afternoon today before drifting back to 98 cents, up almost 9 per cent on Friday’s close.

Dicker Data is a usually thinly traded equity, however volumes have increased strongly in the last two months.

Half a million shares changed hands on Monday last week – a record for the company. Typically the daily average volume is between 20,000 and 30,000.

The company’s market cap is now $125 million, having doubled in value since the start of December. David Dicker’s personal stake is believed to be worth over $63 million.
