CyberCert has named Will Turner as head of customer engagement to lead the company's global approach to partner onboarding, activation, and adoption.
Turner was most recently the customer experience transformation lead at the Queensland government's Department of Trade, Employment and Training.
He's also held roles at eftpos Australia, Ricoh Europe and the UK government's Rural Payments Agency.
Since November of last year, he has also been the head of standards commercialisation at Dynamic Standards International, the developer of the SMB1001 cybersecurity standard.
"Will brings more than 25 years’ experience designing, delivering, and scaling customer experience across government, regulated industries, and technology-led organisations," CyberCert said in a LinkedIn post announcing the hire.
"His work will play a key role in accelerating partner confidence, capability, and long-term value as CyberCert scales SMB1001 globally."
The SMB1001:2026 update was announced last year and included six significant changes compared to the previous (2025) version.
CyberCert's co-founder and chief executive Ryan Ettridge told techpartner.news in August that he wants the company's certifications to become a globally recognised stamp of approval for SMBs' security posture, with MSPs as a key part of the strategy, and in November, CyberCert went live in the Pax8 Marketplace.
