CyberCert joins Pax8 Marketplace

CyberCert has gone live in the Pax8 Marketplace, providing MSPs access to SMB1001, the cybersecurity standard designed for small and midsized businesses.

SMB1001 is technician-powered by design, meaning MSPs can deliver step-by-step, certifiable programs of work.

SMB1001 was recently updated to introduce new controls to combat the rise in email-based attacks and to improve threat detection.

Pax8 unveiled its Marketplace last year, aiming to enable MSPs to identify sales opportunities through AI and create their own white-labelled storefronts.

“This isn’t just about certification; it’s about mass enablement," said Ryan Ettridge, co-founder and CEO of CyberCert.

"When we help the SMB, everyone wins - MSPs, vendors, insurers, enterprises, and the economy. Pax8 gives us the scale to make that impact global.”

“We are excited to welcome CyberCert to the Pax8 Marketplace and help SMBs across the globe prove their value in cybersecurity through the company’s certification solutions,” said Oguo Atuanya, Pax8’s corporate VP of vendor experience.

“Our community will surely find immense value in CyberCert’s SMB-focused products.”

Earlier this year, Pax8 co-founder and chief strategy officer Ryan Walsh told techpartner.news that the company had 150 vendors on its marketplace, 86 of which are transacting in Australia, and a further 1,000 vendors waiting to get in.

Last month, Pax8 announced a new marketplace for agentic AI products aimed at MSPs and SMBs. The Pax8 Agent Store offers bundled agentic artificial intelligence products for various industries, including healthcare, finance, legal and retail.
