Sydney-headquartered distributor Cloud Ready Solutions (CRS) has signed a deal to distribute StoneFly's storage portfolio in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
The deal includes distribution of StoneFly's data archiving solution Green Petabyte Archive Storage, which CRS said includes "energy-efficient components to reduce power consumption and environmental impact."
The solution also offers airgapped storage, which adds an additional layer of security by physically isolating stored data from network access.
CRS said it has "seen great success" promoting StoneFly’s DR365V (Veeam Backup Appliance) and DR365U (Universal Backup Appliance) offerings, both of which offer airgapped and immutable storage.
These solutions have been "well-received in the market, demonstrating the high demand for reliable and secure backup and disaster recovery solutions," the distributor said.
The deal comes after CRS added app recovery vendor Nimesa earlier this month.
"We are thrilled to partner with StoneFly and bring their cutting-edge storage solutions to our market," said Nicholas Gee, owner of Cloud Ready Solutions.
"Anyone who has visited a data center is aware of the immense amount of power consumed, heat generated, and the necessary air conditioning required to maintain such an environment. The GPA 4.0 system dramatically reduces these factors by actively powering down while not in use, aligning with our mission to provide eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions."
"The addition of airgapped and immutable storage features ensures our clients can safeguard their critical data against evolving cyber threats."
