The new versions have image stabilisation and 720p resolution at 50 frames per second. Both are also pre-loaded with a new version of FlipShare, the software that allows Flip owners to edit and share videos which now has Facebook, Twitter and YouTube sharing functionality.
Cisco was not, however, releasing the Flip SlideHD in Australia, which launched in US in April.
Cisco has priced the Flip MinoHD 8GB version at $279.95 and 4GB at $229.95.
Cisco claimed the Flip UltraHD ($279.95) was 25 percent slimmer than previous models and uses standard AAA batteries or a rechargeable battery pack which comes standard.

Cisco Systems has been asked whether the revised version of Flipshare will be available for older Flip cameras, but has not replied at this time.
