Melbourne-based Centorrino Technologies (CT) has acquired Canberra-based professional services provider, Delivery Quality Assurance (DQA), in a move that aims to strengthen its position in the Australian IT services market.

CT is looking to specifically enhance capabilities within the federal government sector.

The merged entity will leverage CT's managed IT services capabilities alongside DQA's expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions across government, defence and intelligence sectors.

DQA was established in 2017 and has driven secure cloud adoption for the Australian Federal Government through delivery, technical services and security services in PROTECTED security environments.

CT provides secure IT solutions to various sectors including education, healthcare, critical infrastructure, not-for-profit and financial services organisations.

Steve Melville, the chief executive and founder of DQA, has been appointed as CT's head of consulting.

Melville will lead the newly launched consulting services division.

"The move to join the CT team has been positive for all of our people, providing access to a larger capability set," Melville said.

DQA will now operate under the CT banner, with business continuity assured for all existing DQA customers.

Last year, CT attained the federal government's Certified Strategic Service Provider (CSSP) certification under the Hosting Certification Framework for its cloud services.
